This twin flame dynamic is low key toxic the way it’s portrayed sometimes. There’s this underlying idea (runner/chaser dynamic) that involves one person basically being a doormat to the other but I refuse to accept that narrative. Yes, I was in a deeply spiritual relationship with someone who ran from our connection but I have never and will never chase them. What I chase instead is the understanding and acceptance of Self.
And I’m sorry but I don’t love the common narrative of forlorn women (DFs) claiming to be divine while fantasizing for years about men who didn’t choose them. Beautiful soul, there is nothing divine in chasing something not meant for you. Maybe it’s the wrong time. Maybe it’s the wrong man. But we are being called to be radically honest with ourselves about the people we let into our lives and our bodies.
Maybe he comes back and maybe he matches your vibration this time. Maybe he doesn’t. Maybe someone new comes in and matches your vibration. Maybe you discover this new connection is even more powerful than the last because you took the time do the work so you’re both vibrating at a super high level. Maybe you’re happier than you’ve ever thought possible and absolutely swimming in puddles and puddles of love. Maybe you’re single and swimming in your own puddles of love and it’s marvelous and delicious. Maybe you have a new family. Maybe you go on an adventure that takes you somewhere incredible you’ve never heard of. Maybe, maybe, maybe. But you won’t know if you’re holding on so tightly to this no. It’s time to let go. exhale
So, my advice if you wanna move forward post-separation? You have to separate the spiritual aspect of this journey from the person you experienced the awakening with in order to grow in your own personal power. We give it away to them when we give them credit for the spiritual aspect and hang on to the idea of them as the only possible way to get that feeling again. I don’t believe that’s true. But hey, maybe it is. The real question is are you willing to give up your autonomy and self respect for it? Or are you going to do the work to become divine? We all get to make that decision for ourselves. But I don’t think the universe arranged this for us to learn to mope around about someone leaving us for years on end while they live their lives. I think it is urging us to step into our divinity to truly see the wonders WE are capable of. And the magic WE can attract into our lives by focusing on the Self.

A lot of us resonated with the idea that doing the work to become divine is tough but absolutely worth it for our own growth. As one member put it, “He’s a 2, I’m a fucking 11,” which totally encapsulates the vibe of stepping into our own power and not settling for less.
We’ve also been talking about how the Divine Feminine sets the bar for vibrational energy. The consensus is clear: show up with your best and highest energy, or don’t show up at all. This shift away from longing for someone who’s not on our level is so freeing, and it’s exciting to see so many of us on this path together.
